Who runs SERU Mock Test
A private study aid for the TfL SERU assessment. Here is who runs it, what it is and is not, and how we check the questions.
Who runs it
SERU Mock Test is a trading name of Jagat IT UK Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17474995. Registered office: 164 High Street, London Colney, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL2 1QF.
What it is, and what it is not
It is a bank of 202 practice questions for the SERU, written by us, with a free ten on the home page. Full access is£0.99, one payment.
It is not TfL. It is not a government website, and TfL has not endorsed it. You book and sit the real assessment with TfL, on the official TfL SERU page. Passing a practice test here does not give you a licence or a qualification. Only Transport for London can do that.
How the questions are checked
190 of the 202 questions come from the PHV Driver Handbook, and each one names the handbook section it comes from. The other 12 are reading questions, and they say they are not from the handbook.
Every answer is explained in English and in Bangla.
The bank is tested so that a driver who knows nothing cannot pass by picking the longest answer. The build stops if any right answer is clearly longer or shorter than the wrong ones. On 9 October 2026, picking the longest answer every time scored 39 out of 146 multiple choice and reading questions, which is 27 percent. Our pass mark is 75 percent.
From our own check of the bank, run on 9 October 2026.
Where the rules come from
Every fee, date and rule on this site names where it came from. Most come from TfL notices. The main ones are TfL Notice 05/26 on fees, TfL Notice 06/25 on the taxi SERU and TfL Notice 01/24 on the open book trial.
Where a figure comes from somewhere else, such as the pass rates TfL gave in a freedom of information answer, the page says so. We last checked every source on 9 October 2026. See every SERU rule change, notice by notice.
